About once a year my wisdom teeth decide that it's time for a bit of a reshuffle and start wandering around somewhere back there where the jaw-bone meets the skull. Usually it's only one jaw, as it was this time, and only for a couple of days, the most noticeable effect being a bit of discomfort and the fact that my top back teeth and bottom back teeth don't align anymore.
For some reason or other my left lower wisdom tooth decided to really give me some grief this year and give everything a really good push around. I ended up with a mouth ulcer somewhere right up the back which hurt like blazes, zero alignment right round to the incisors and a good solid jaw ache for the best part of a week. The worst has gone and now it only hurts when I yawn. Hopefully my wisdom tooth has gone into the dental equivalent of hibernation for a while.
We've just got back from a few days in Brisbane, I shall try and post a couple of pictures tomorrow.
I feel you. When I still had my wisdom tooth, it caused me some pain as well. I wasn't able to eat well for several days because of it. And the pain was too much sometimes. Anyway, I finally had it removed. Did you have yours extracted too?
