What gorgeous flowers. I've never seen gum flowers that colour before.

We do hebes well here - in fact we export them not only to Australia but to the UK and Europe too. I hear they do well in Cornwall.

Hebes-I cannot decide if the browning of some leaves in summer, of our Hebe plant here in Sydney, is due to mould growth or just the extreme temperatures on some days. Can Hebes tolerate 40 Deg C in direct sun?

My camera, which has trouble up the purple end of the spectrum, has faithfully reproduced the colour for once. I've also done a close up of the flowers, they're truly magnificent.
