Bower birds have always fascinated me - those and the weaver birds, who make big hanging nests in acacia trees on the African savannah.

I did a school project on the bower bird in Standard 3 - and got an A for it!


I'll see if I can get some pictures of him this coming week, Fi. He's a bit drab and almost certainly trying to compensate with his nest because he's not much to look at !
